This privacy policy applies to the mobile game Scroodles, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, published by Mad Sally Games, LLC.
What data we collect and how we use it
Game progress (all players)
We store your game progress — levels completed, scores, and in-game currency balances — on our servers so it can be restored if you reinstall or switch devices. This data is associated with an anonymous identifier (your Apple Game Center ID or Facebook user ID) and is not linked to your real name on our servers.
Facebook login (optional)
If you choose to connect with Facebook, we access your Facebook first name and profile photo to display within the game, and we access your list of Facebook friends who also play Scroodles so you can see their scores on level leaderboards. Your name and photo are used only within the game and are not stored on our servers. We do not post to your timeline or access your messages or any other profile information.
Email address (optional)
If you connect with Facebook, we may receive your email address to identify your account. It is not used for marketing and we do not share it with third parties.
Apple Game Center (iOS)
On iOS, the game uses Apple Game Center for authentication. Your Game Center display name and identifier may be used to associate your game progress with your account.
App tracking (iOS)
When you connect with Facebook on iOS, we may request permission to track your activity across apps for the purpose of finding your Facebook friends who play Scroodles. You can allow or deny this when prompted, and you can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy → Tracking. Denying tracking does not affect gameplay.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
We use the following third-party services to operate the game:
- Meta Platforms (Facebook Login) — for optional sign-in and friend leaderboards
- Apple Game Center — for authentication on iOS
- Supabase — for storing game progress on our servers
How to request deletion of your data
To request deletion of your game progress and any associated account data from our servers, email us at madsallygames@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."
Please include the User ID shown in the game's Settings screen so we can locate your account. We will delete your data within 30 days and confirm by email.
Note that deleting your data is permanent and cannot be undone — your game progress will be lost.
If you connected with Facebook, you may also remove Scroodles from your Facebook account at any time via Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites, which revokes our access to your Facebook information.
Children's privacy
Scroodles is intended for players aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at madsallygames@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
